In the heart of New England, our design journey unfolds with the lifelong passion of our founder, Jill Kirk. From the early days of her childhood, Jill's love for design was evident as she transformed her surroundings, painting and reimagining her bedroom furniture with unstoppable curiosity. Taking design courses throughout college, but ultimately landing on Sociology with a minor in Fine Art, Jill's hobby of design persisted, helping friends with their first apartments and first homes.

Twelve years ago, she embarked on what would become a transformative project remodeling her first home and discovering the profound impact and importance of letting her surroundings and the way she lives inform the design of the home.

Jill's path was winding - from tech startups to other entrepreneurial ventures - but the comforts of home design remained important throughout and contributed to her more mature and restrained sense of style.
In 2021, she jumped with both feet, dedicating herself fully to design. Today, rooted in a rich blend of New England charm and European warmth, Verplank Ave Design brings a unique, heartfelt touch to every space they design. They prefer finishes over furnishings, texture over pattern, and above all else soul before trends.

UNLIMITED DESIGN & PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Join us on a seamless design journey with our most full-service offering. From concept to completion, we offer comprehensive design and project management to ensure an stress-free experience, allowing you to settle in to the beauty of your home without agonizing about the behind the scenes. We'll work together closely to understand your vision, the home's history, and how your family lives before creating a bespoke design plan tailored to those details. We manage every aspect, from finish selection to coordinating craftsmen. At the end of the project, we will be there to style and install all materials chosen and collected.
UNLIMITED DESIGN
For clients undergoing a renovation or new build who prefer to select and manage construction, vendors, and contractors on their own. This service begins with working together closely to understand your goals, aesthetic and lifestyle, while keeping the integrity of the home of its surroundings. A bespoke design plan, complete with detailed drawings, finishes and furnishings lists, and linked materials will be handed off over the course of the agreed upon timeline. All information will be packaged and ready to bring to your selected contractors and craftsmen.

CONCEPT, SOURCING, LAYOUT, & SUPPORT
For clients focused on furnishings or finishes and layout within existing spaces with no construction. This package includes an initial concept creation, product sourcing (no mark-up on trade only products), and materials list with shoppable links. Communication stays open with changes being welcome until we get to the final product you love. Install support is also available and charged hourly.
MOODBOARD
​For clients feeling stuck and needing inspiration, our moodboard package offers appropriate layout within existing spaces, use of your current favorite furnishings, and ideas for other pieces to invest it. This package is charged as a flat rate, $250 per room, with no specific product links, but rather a list of sources to explore.​
